Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Execute the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close procedures, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Track income and expenses across multiple entities or cost centers to ensure precise financial management.
- Maintain records related to tax filings, insurance, and financing obligations to support compliance.
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and workflows, such as Quick Books, to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with external accounting or tax partners to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to financial regulations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure tracking for organizational planning.
- Supervise or provide guidance to entry-level accounting or administrative staff as necessary.
- Work with internal teams to enhance financial processes and strengthen internal controls. Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 3 years in a full-charge or senior role.
- Proficiency in Quick Books (Online or Desktop) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bookkeeping or accounting certifications are preferred but not required.
