Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $20 / hour. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

The Distribution Driver Helper is responsible for assisting delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.

• Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers
• Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner
• Collect and return all payments as required
• Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned
• Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed
• Ensure delivery logs are completed as required
• Ensure check‑in procedures are followed daily
• Attend monthly safety meetings
• Take only safety courses and other classes as needed
• Report all moving violations to management
• Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• 1 year of experience
• Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
• Experience in a warehousing environment
• Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem‑solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs
