Overview

A Production Worker (or Production Operator) is a core member of a manufacturing team, responsible for the hands-on assembly or processing of goods. This role requires a blend of physical stamina, technical skill, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for long periods (often 8–12 hours) and lift heavy objects, typically between 40–60 lbs.
• Attention to Detail: Precision is vital to ensure products are built correctly and safely.

Salary: $17 - $18 per hour

Shift: First

Work Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Education: No Degree Required

• Equipment Operation: Setting up, starting, and monitoring machinery to ensure the production line runs smoothly.
• Assembly & Processing: Putting together components or processing raw materials into finished products based on specific blueprints or guidelines.
• Quality Assurance: Inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Performing basic machine maintenance and keeping the workspace clean to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Inventory & Reporting: Tracking the number of items produced and reporting any mechanical issues or material shortages to supervisors.
