Kingston Care Center of Sylvania is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in helping residents regain mobility, strength, and independence. • Carry out therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and daily rehab activities
• Document resident progress accurately and report updates to the Physical Therapist
• Provide education to residents and families on exercises, safety, and long‑term wellness
• Create a positive, motivating environment that encourages participation and progress
• Follow Ohio state regulations and Kingston’s standards for therapy services

• Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long‑term care preferred (new grads welcome)
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• A compassionate, resident‑first mindset with a focus on quality care
• Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative therapy team
