Harris Regional is part of Lifepoint Health. As a Social Worker at our 86-bed rehabilitation facility, you’ll help make communities healthier by providing compassionate care to patients, families, and community resources.

We offer a full range of services including general surgery, women's care, intensive care, emergency services, and respiratory care. Our team collaborates closely with all providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Interview and assess patients, families, and legal representatives.
• Determine, prioritize, and arrange internal and external services/interventions.
• Participate in case reviews to evaluate case management and progress.
• Consult with the healthcare team to promote, monitor, and evaluate compliance with the patient’s treatment plan.
• Assist with discharge planning and processes; identify resources such as transportation, housing, and social/spiritual services, and provide referrals.
• Supervise and train new staff, students, and interns.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
• Current Board Certified Social Worker license in North Carolina.
• Handle With Care certification required within 30 days of hire.
