About Our Team

Harris Regional Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging and interventional services in comfortable, convenient surroundings. We are proud to offer a filmless environment, complete with a picture-achieving communication system (PACS). The PACS digitally stores and displays medical images allowing for immediate access to patient information and increased efficiency. Our radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology with extensive training and experience in all areas of technology.

We offer our patients the latest technology in diagnostic testing while staying close to home.

How You'll Contribute

A Manager of Imaging who excels in this role:

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and supply stock.
  • Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.

Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work. Ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree is preferred, or applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education. Additional requirements include:

  • ARRT certification
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
