- Swing Shift- 12 Hour Shifts.

- Assisting the lead operator in a variety of duties, such as startup/shutdown of equipment, troubleshoot issues, etc.
- Assist maintenance personnel with general maintenance of plant equipment.
- Bagging, labeling products and transferring them to a staging area driving/using a forklift.
- Responsible for cleaning and organizing plants.
- Collecting quality control samples.
- Completing Operator Care assessments of equipment.
- Proposes measures to improve methods, performance and quality of product.
- Completes LOTO of equipment for maintenance or operational issues.
- Routinely work in confined spaces (Drums/Mixers) with pneumatic tools for entire shifts.
- Minimum High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
- One to two years of production experience preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge in manufacturing environment.
- Must be self‑motivated and can work independently.
- Must be able to read and interpret production schedule.
- Must have basic computer skills to navigate through multiple screens and input data.
- Communicating with internal and external customers – must be able to talk, hear, see, and comprehend.
- Mobility of arms – Must be able to reach, and use arms to manipulate small objects.
- Mobility inside the plant – Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to move and work in tight confined spaces for extended periods of time.
- Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Work is routinely performed in a general warehouse environment on a concrete surface, with frequent exposure to both internal and external environment.
- Frequent exposure to severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
- Frequent exposure to dust, and noise levels that exceed a normal threshold.
- Must wear steel-toed boots.
- Recommended:
Safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, back brace, and safety attire as noted by guides provided in specific areas. These items will be provided by Harrell’s upon request. - Personal Protective Equipment must be worn in accordance with SDS recommendations.
