Overview

Starting Pay - $20.92 (increase after 90 days). $1,000 Sign on Bonus for new Atlas employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include travel requirements)

Unloading

  • The truck bumps the dock and after securing the trailer, rolls are taken off the truck.
  • Each roll is scanned as they are being unloaded from the truck and before they are placed in the warehouse.
  • Ensure product is good quality and no damage as it is stored.
  • Proper paperwork must be maintained for all loading/unloading processes.
  • Responsible for the unloading of latex and raw glass trucks.
  • Report any damage to the Shipping Manager immediately.

Loading

  • The truck bumps the dock and after securing the trailer, verify with driver the order number and/or destination.
  • Use computer to pull the order/pick plan.
  • Get the Tare Weight from Shipping Manager.
  • Load the rolls on cradles and/or blocking as needed.
  • Maximize the shipping weight without exceeding the DOT maximum.
  • Pick plans/roll numbers are transferred to Shipping Manager for completion of BOL.
