The Role
As a Header Operations Technician, you'll oversee Header machines, ensuring they produce quality components that meet our high standards.
Your Responsibilities- Monitor and operate: ensure smooth machine functionality and high-quality production.
- Shop drawing interpretation: accurately interpret technical drawings.
- Material selection and maintenance: choose the right materials, adjust machines, and perform minor maintenance.
- Precision and documentation: use various measuring tools and accurately document material handling.
- Ensure quality: guarantee that products meet our rigorous specifications.
- Problem solve: collaborate with departments to tackle minor machine issues.
- Maintain organization: keep your workspace tidy and organized.
- Additional duties: carry out tasks as directed by your supervisor.
- Cross-machine monitoring: stay versatile by managing different machines when needed.
- Foundational skills: ability to read, write, and use simple shop mathematics.
- Experience:
1 to 3 years of relevant experience. - Problem-solving skills: tackle complex issues with creative solutions, even when standard procedures are limited.
- Computer proficiency: learning and adapting to Driv-Lok's computer systems.
The factory setting involves exposure to machinery, noise, oil, and smoke. Employees should be adept with handling various equipment and must be capable of frequently lifting up to 40 pounds. Standing for extended periods and operating on the move are routine tasks.
