The Web Content Operations Specialist is a dynamic role that leads our global web experience practice for IDEAL Industries, Inc. across a portfolio of Word Press VIP‑powered sites. This role blends digital branding, user experience, personalization, SEO, and web operations, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on page building, component‑based design, and continuous optimization for a set of global businesses in the IDEAL family.

They will be responsible for developing user‑centric web experiences, building customer journeys, and making strategic and data‑driven updates that improve path‑to‑purchase conversion and site engagement across multiple brands, regions, and languages. The Web Content Operations Specialist works closely with Business Unit Marketing Managers, Product, and IT/agency partners to translate business objectives into high‑performing digital experiences. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Lead web experience & content strategies and bring them to life for the IDEAL global family of brands through development of a monthly calendar of updates, enhancements, A/B tests, and personalization initiatives (Corporate, IDEAL Electrical, Anderson Power, Enatel) that align to strategies and improve the CX.
  • Partner with BU marketing teams and our brands to develop and improve digital experiences across pages, banners, customer journeys, navigation updates, etc. Examples:
    New product launches, special events, customer segments.
  • Execute front‑end web design and authoring updates to supported websites using Word Press VIP and its block/page‑building capabilities (marketer‑driven interfaces that do not require deep engineering skills).
  • Own page and template creation using reusable components, patterns, and blocks to ensure consistency and scalability across brands and regions.
  • Utilize tools and processes to ensure that all websites and updates meet WCAG AA accessibility requirements, including appropriate structure, alt text, and color contrast.
  • Lead an ongoing roadmap of A/B and multivariate tests (page layouts, messaging, navigation, CTAs) to improve conversion, engagement, and content discoverability, using the tools available in our stack (e.g., testing, personalization, and analytics platforms).
  • Use analytics to regularly review performance dashboards, identify issues or opportunities, and recommend specific tests or content changes.
  • Manage on and off page SEO optimization to improve website quality and relevance.
  • Partner with IT and agency resources to manage the Word Press VIP environment, including release planning, plugin evaluation, and coordination of larger technical changes.
  • Responsible for leading and identifying UX enhancement projects, upgrades & managed service projects with our technical agency partner.
  • Ensure content governance across global sites, including workflows, approvals, and documentation for authors and stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain web content standards and playbooks (components usage, naming conventions, SEO and accessibility guidelines) to enable consistency as more authors contribute.
