Joining H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and services. You’ll provide clients with IRS support and, where applicable, tax notice services or audit representation based on certification level.
What you’ll bring to the team- Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
- Provide clients with IRS support
- All certification levels can provide tax notice services;
Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation - Mentor and support teammates
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
- Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
- Experience completing individual returns
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone and chat)
- Excellent communication in person, by phone, and in writing
- Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Eligible to participate in incentive plans, benefits, and programs described by local requirements and company policy.
