Formulator and Product Engineer (m/f/d)%

Your tasks

• Development and optimization of feed formulations, taking into account species-specific needs, operational possibilities, and economic efficiency
• Regular review and continuous development of the existing feed range
• Creation of new recipes for trials, product range items, and individual farm mixes
• Ensuring correct declarations in accordance with recipes and legal requirements
• Revision, maintenance, and further development of the premix range (internal and external)
• Active organization, support, and implementation of test phases and market launches of new products
• Maintenance and further development of the Bestmix formulation software (price and matrix updates)
• Close cooperation with suppliers, including product evaluation
• Technical contact person for feeding and production-related questions for production, field service, technology, and customer service
• Definition, monitoring, and further development of quality parameters in cooperation with the quality, production, and purchasing departments
• Evaluation and documentation of trials with new products and additives

You and your background

• You have training in livestock science, animal nutrition, or a comparable qualification and have a strong affinity for the agricultural industry.
• Several years of professional experience in animal nutrition and feed formulation is an advantage.
• Experience in working with multiple production sites (multimix) and knowledge of formulation programs such as Allix, Bestmix, Format, Brill, or comparable systems are desirable.
• You are fluent at least in one of these 3 languages:
  English, German or French.
• You have strong social skills and enjoy working in a team and across departments.
• A structured, precise, and conscientious approach to work, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks sensibly, round off your profile.
