Sigvaris is currently looking for a Clinical Sales Specialist to join our Lymphedema & Lipedema Business Unit. The Lymphedema & Lipedema Business Unit is an initiative and strategic investment toward expanding the Sigvaris Group capabilities and presence into this clinical area that began in 2021.

This important program will have a positive impact on the quality of life of patients living with Lymphedema & Lipedema. The Clinical Sales Specialist will assist in the continued expansion of the program by growing revenue in the Lymphedema & Lipedema market through new business lead generation and key account support, promoting and supporting the Sigvaris Lymphedema & Lipedema program, brand and product lines through education, in‑servicing and sales services for current and potential customers and clinicians in the Southeast Region of the United States.

The Clinical Sales Specialist will provide clinical education, sales strategy and support to assist in achieving or exceeding projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within assigned product lines. Partnering closely with the Senior Commercial Director, Product Management and existing Sales Team and Sales Training department, this role is critical to building the program capabilities. The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to create something fresh and beneficial in this space.

This position will be located in the Southeast region. Ideal candidate must reside in one of the following cities – Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, or Charlotte – and be in close proximity to a major airport.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Grow revenue in the Lymphedema & Lipedema market through new business lead generation and key account support, including virtual calls, in‑person meetings, in‑servicing, etc.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (i.e., slides, papers, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy updates, and technology developments.
  • Meet with existing and potential customers (physicians, therapists, nurses, clinical office groups, DMEs, pharmacies, fitters) by traveling (in an automobile, airplane, etc.) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate and train them on how company products can help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop relationships with customer personnel at all levels, including staff, clinicians, and administrators, to make new contacts and identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (sales, marketing, leadership) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Provide direction, guidance and exercise significant latitude and independence in assignments.
  • Assist in educating internally and coaching other team members from clinical expertise.
  • Implement and monitor strategies outlined by the quarterly plan of action for the area. Champion support for market development, product launch, and competitive product intelligence.
  • Work with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the area and organization.
  • Complete business reports, track business critical data and be accountable to a quarterly plan of action.
  • Foster positive morale among staff by promoting open communication with all departments to create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
  • Interact with external and internal customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
  • Display patience, courtesy and tact; demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary.
