Who you are
As a Store Visual Merchandiser & Activity Manager, you will lead and develop your team of co‑workers. You will be responsible for presenting and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offer with strong visual impressions that continue to surprise and inspire our customers while strengthening the IKEA brand.
- Education in visual merchandising or industrial design, and at least 5 years' experience as a visual merchandiser.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in leadership roles.
- Familiarity with Revit.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and engage people fully to reach set goals, and generate growth and long‑term profitability.
- Continual improvement mindset, encouraging your team to seek new opportunities to improve our work processes.
- Challenge your team and yourself to strengthen the IKEA Brand and exceed customer expectations.
- Hands‑on mentality – 90% of your time will be on the shop floor together with your team.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Provide home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s lives at home.
- Secure the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store while creating a good overview and strong visual impact.
- Recruit, develop and lead your team.
