Then join our Chemical Process Development Department located in Sisseln, Switzerland. As Intern Analytical Lab Technician (f/m/d) you are an expert in state‑of‑the‑art analytical technologies and will actively participate in innovation in the field of supercritical fluid chromatography and related development activities. You will find here a highly professional and motivated team, a well‑equipped lab and piloting facilities and challenging tasks.

The temporary position (12 months) is available as of 1st August 2025 or as per agreement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize and assess methods for the analysis of intermediates and final products from biotech and chemical processes with focus on small natural molecules.
  • Define, plan and conduct experiments or advise technicians in conducting experiments in the field of analytical method development, especially supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), applying the appropriate safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with scientist to implement analytical methods with focus on SFC in different process development projects and in chemical and biotech production plants.
  • Evaluate, analyze, report and present results and conclusions to scientific experts.
  • Document the developed methods and train scientists and technicians in using them.
  • Generate new expertise and new concepts in the field of analytical technology and actively participate in exchange with academia and internal scientific experts.

The job combines scientific expertise in analytical technology with production process development and application in complex chemical and biotech production plants.

You Bring
  • Aducation in chemical science, preferably in analytical technology.
  • Sound understanding and application experience of analytical technologies, preferably experience in supercritical fluid chromatography.
  • Good understanding of chemical process safety.
  • Keen interest and talent in communication, work in interdisciplinary teams and documentation of results in scientific reports.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English (any other language of advantage).
