SummerStudent Position – Photon Sciences
Duration: 8‑12 weeks (typical). Type:
Internship (Index‑‑T1). Payment: 100% of stipend.
Start date:
12 December 2025.
- Participate in research activities at the PSI Center for Photon Science.
- Contribute to a selected project (project descriptions are listed on PSI’s website). State your preferred project in your application.
- You should have completed three years of full‑time university studies by summer 2026 in a natural or engineering science discipline, or computing.
- You are expected to obtain your Bachelor’s degree by summer 2026 or be enrolled in a Master’s programme at a university.
- You have not previously been a PSI summer student.
- You have a good working knowledge of English and basic computing skills.
For the duration of the internship, you will be part of a research group at PSI, carrying out an individual work project. Your stay will be enriched by complementary lectures and activities with other students.
