Mineralogist - Industrial Excellence

Tasks

• Support raw material related projects, including data collection, laboratory work, and documentation
• Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and executing mineralogical analyses
• Collect and document technical data; contribute to reports and presentations
• Provide mineralogical expertise to other technical departments
• Assist in the development and improvement of mineralogical test methods
• Contribute to research, innovation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Master degree or Ph.D. in Mineralogy, Geology, or related Geoscience field; entry-level position
• In depth knowledge of analytical methods (XRF, XRD, Microscopy)
• Basic understanding of raw materials and mineral processing; willingness to learn Omya operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to follow procedures and document accurately
• Good organizational and communication skills; proactive and collaborative mindset
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Readiness to travel up to 20%

• This position is a fixed-term role until the end of December 2026
