- Carry out research on the theory of angle‑resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES)
- Implement new methods and improve open‑source scientific software used in the group
- Perform first‑principles simulations of ARPES for materials relevant to orbitronics
- Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum
- Identify promising materials for orbitronics applications
- Collaborate with experimental groups
- Support research and teaching activities generally
- A PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field
- A strong background in theoretical condensed‑matter physics or related disciplines
- Basic knowledge of photoemission spectroscopy or related techniques
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of first‑principles simulations based on DFT
- Good programming skills in Fortran and Python
- Good command of English and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both theoretical and experimental partners
