About

the Role

The Corporate Communications & General Affairs Senior Specialist (m/f/d) is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing communication strategies and high-impact content that enhance organizational reputation, support business objectives, and strengthen engagement with internal and external stakeholders. This position serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring that all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s brand, values and strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate is a proactive storyteller with exceptional writing and content development skills, and experience driving corporate communications (internal & external) in fast‑paced environments.

This role requires strong expertise in crafting clear, compelling, and consistent messaging and communication across multiple channels and audiences/stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Communication & Planning
  • Develop and implement integrated communication plans that support organizational strategic priorities, initiatives, and change‑management efforts.
  • Advise management on communication approach, risk management, and stakeholder impact.
  • Identify communication opportunities to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
Internal Communications
  • Create and distribute high‑quality internal communications, including newsletters, executive messages, announcements, and intranet content.
  • Support employee engagement through strategic messaging, campaigns, and events.
  • Partner with HR and management to communicate policies, culture initiatives, and organizational updates.
  • Partner with HR & Digital Solutions team to support the planning and execution of internal corporate events such as quarterly Global Townhalls and other employee‑facing communication forums and events, ensuring consistent communication and corporate branding.
External Communications & Public Relations
  • Draft and edit press releases, media statements, speeches, and external announcements in collaboration with Marketing function.
  • Manage media relationships, monitor opportunities and address inquiries in collaboration with Marketing function.
Content Development
  • Produce clear, compelling, and audience‑appropriate content across channels: digital, social media, presentations, and reports.
  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all communication materials.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually engaging communication assets.
  • Manage General Affairs topics at headquarters in Lucerne, such as awards and special projects.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (master's preferred).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar strategic communications role.
  • Experience working in global organizations; healthcare or dental industry experience is a plus.
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities, with a strong focus on developing high‑impact communication content across channels.
