INERGIO SA is a cutting-edge technology company based in Lausanne that specializes in designing and producing lightweight and compact fuel cells that can operate on a wide variety of fuels. Our fuel cells are highly efficient, environmentally friendly, and perfect for a wide range of applications.

Position Overview

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the design of a new pilot line and all daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves managing production teams, maintaining equipment and facilities, enforcing compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals for productivity and profitability.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgets, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet customer and business demands.
  • Analyze performance data and implement corrective actions to optimize plant efficiency.

    Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to drive operational excellence.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; promote professional growth within the plant team.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of production management, maintenance systems, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve performance targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, production scheduling, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Applicants must hold a valid permit to work in Switzerland.

Preferred Skills
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in continuous improvement.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
