SalaryStarting salary is $18.85 per hour - 9 hours/day

- Must be able to meet and maintain a daily cleaning schedule
- Must be in good physical health and be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to read and understand basic operating instructions
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with staff
- First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one
- Check for maintenance problems, check inventory, and give to proper personnel
- Inform other shift custodians of any new changes or tasks that need to be performed
- Keep equipment clean and inventory checked
- Inform Director of problems
- Clean buildings as directed by the Custodial Director (including restrooms) to maintain a safe, healthy, attractive, and efficient school environment
- Make minor building repairs as needed and directed
- Clean walks, school grounds, and parking lots as assigned by the Custodial Director
- Assist in installing items such as bulletin boards, chalk boards, cabinets, etc.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies
- Assist with determination and completion of minor repairs, remodels, etc. as directed by the Custodial Director
