High school diploma or equivalent required.
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) required.
- Must have knowledge of building trades.
- Must have experience as a skilled maintenance person.
- Must demonstrate the ability to organize work assignments and work independently.
- Must have the physical ability to perform full range of maintenance assignments, including heavy lifting, and climbing to the heights of any Bangor school building.
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials in a safe manner.
- Must be willing to become familiar with school department fire alarms, sprinkler system, security system, and phone systems to allow for basic repairs.
