Job Description /ResponsibilitiesThe Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for purchasing finished goods across multiple global suppliers and regions for distribution to global warehouse networks. This role develops and executes a comprehensive global supply plan that ensures service excellence, maintains company fill rate and inventory standards, and optimizes cost and working capital.
The Planner leverages company supply planning systems and TMS tools to create dynamic supply plans responsive to production constraints and freight variability. This role provides both near‑term executable plans and annual supply forecasts to internal and external stakeholders, while collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning & Execution
- Purchase finished goods across multiple suppliers and regions to support global warehouse distribution.
- Develop and execute near‑term supply plans that maintain company fill rate and inventory standards.
- Provide annual supply forecasts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Use company supply planning software to generate and execute optimized supply plans.
- Calculate and manage optimized safety stock levels using planning tools and system capabilities.
- Communicate internal production requirements as necessary to achieve supply objectives.
Logistics & Supplier Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement and Logistics on supplier performance management, contract alignment, and freight variability mitigation.
- Utilize TMS and other systems to dynamically adjust supply plans based on freight variability and transportation constraints.
- Support supplier performance discussions with data‑driven analysis and supply insights.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Work cross-functionally on cost optimization initiatives that overlap with assigned supply chains.
- Participate in functional expertise groups to strengthen planning tools, processes, and system capabilities.
- Manage global projects from initiation through completion, utilizing formal processes to manage scope, risks, timelines, and resources.
- Contribute to company-sponsored professional development programs and continuous growth initiatives.
Key Priorities
- Deliver highest service levels while optimizing cost of goods, freight, and inventory investment.
- Maintain strong alignment between supply plans and business growth objectives, including priority brand expansion.
- Anticipate and exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
- Drive system and process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve decision quality.

Qualifications/RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of relevant supply chain or planning experience
- Experience with manufacturing or planning systems (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS, TMS)
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve processes
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS certification or Six Sigma certification
- Experience in alcohol beverage or CPG industry
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP platforms
- MBA
- Experience integrating systems in complex planning environments
