The Systems Administrator / Cloud & Application Support Engineer provides expert-level application administration, system security, and cloud operations support for CMTARS and associated DoD cloud environments. This role supports the operation, maintenance, and administration of delivered capabilities while providing architectural, engineering, and technical expertise across development, staging, and production environments. The engineer will work closely with system and database administrators, troubleshoot application and production issues, and contribute to system documentation, sustainment efforts, and new capability deployments.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated Systems Administration experience.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience integrating  and Salesforce software.
• Demonstrated experience working with Open Text Directory Services and Active Directory in a DoD Cloud environment.
• Proven experience hardening cloud environments, applying and adhering to DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides).

• Security+ (DoD 8570.01-M compliant).
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification.
• Open Text System Administration Certification.
• Open Text App Works Certification (version 20.2 or earlier to 16.2).
• Verifiable training, experience, and/or certification with:
• Salesforce 24.0 or earlier versions

Working knowledge of:

• Microsoft Azure
• Cloud
  
  ONE administration

• Cloud security practices
• DoD compliance requirements
• Application and system integration in secured cloud environments

• Experience supporting cloud migrations (Azure and other DoD Cloud platforms).
• Familiarity with CMTARS architecture and sustainment operations.

• Strong ability to recommend performance improvements and optimize application behavior.
