Position OverviewThe Finance Manager is responsible for accounting and reporting financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and for all treasury activities.
The Finance Manager will partner closely with executive leadership by providing accurate, timely and reliable financial information that facilitates informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executives and leadership team
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and tax
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, and financial regulations
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial sustainability
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reporting
- Prepare reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Partner with the Transformation Office, HR, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and other departments to align financial performance with business strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline
- A recognised accounting qualification is strongly preferred, with 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, statutory reporting, treasury management, and tax compliance
- Demonstrated experience managing finance teams and overseeing end-to-end financial operations, ideally within an international organisation
- Experience in the fashion or luxury sector is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop high performing finance teams
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Hands‑on and solution‑oriented approach combined with strategic thinking
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international, and evolving business environment
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders across operations, HR, sales, and supply chain
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement and process optimisation approach
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, and Italian is highly desirable
