Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
Evaluate and price new MGA opportunities to ensure profitability targets will be achieved. Develop rate level and rating algorithm changes needed to achieve profitability. Work closely with a panel of existing Member MGAs to ensure continued profitability and address any actuarial support needed. Think creatively about how the actuarial function can better serve their Member MGAs y abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, providing proactive recommendations.
- Qualified Actuary with IFOA or equivalent
- Fluent in English and preferably fluent in one or more of the following additional languages:
German, Spanish, French, Italian
- 7+ years P&C actuarial experience; commercial lines pricing experience is preferable
- Exposure to a wide variety of P&C, Niche & Specialty commercial lines insurance products
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Python, R, Excel)
