Project Engineer, Process Engineer

In behalf of our client, we’re looking for a Project Engineer.

The Project Engineer develops concepts, advises stakeholders on decision‑making, executes detailed engineering plans, applies for necessary funds, and manages project execution. He/she is responsible for costs, deadlines, and functionality of the project.

* Please note that we can only consider EU/Schengen applications, or valid Swiss permit.

• Plan and realize small to mid‑sized investment projects with direct impact on production and business results.
• Perform process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new plants or rebuilds of existing plants, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functionality.
• Plan, realize, and support production adjustments and product launches.

• Develop possible technical solutions and evaluate advantages and disadvantages.

• Procure and organize necessary resources (internal or external) for timely and professional project execution.

• Optimize process flows and implement solutions.

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, Bio or Chemical Engineering.
• Application of professional knowledge in daily work.
• Highly independent and structured.
• Advanced written and spoken English and German.
• Innovative thinking and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Strong leadership skills in a matrix organization.
• Excellent comprehension of complex contexts.
• Highly motivated.
