As a senior CAPEX Implementation project manager in Visp/Switzerland, you will own the implementation of a sophisticated chemical plant installation in our NCE business area. This project presents a significant building block for Arxada's growth strategy at our Visp site and it involves the production of a new, promising product for an internationally premier customer. This role requires a strategic and expert hands-on leader, who will be based in Visp, to deliver the project successfully.

• Lead and engage a multidisciplinary team within a multifaceted environment
• Lead matrix project organization with clear roles and responsibilities and strong alignment between engineering, technical procurement, and construction teams
• Take high-impact decisions, ensuring timely resolution of conflicts and roadblocks while maintaining scope integrity
• Balance parallel work streams, prioritizing critical-path activities while preventing bottlenecks with proactive risk mitigation.
• Coordinate detailed design development, ensuring integration across process, mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines
• Serve as the key liaison between executive leadership, internal teams and external engineering firms
• Continuously supervise project financials, proactively adjusting strategies to maintain budget discipline

• Min. 10+ years in sophisticated and large CAPEX projects in chemical or equivalent industry
• Shown ability to lead projects in matrix organizations with multiple collaborators
• Track record of successful delivery on time and budget
• Expertise in process engineering, construction and plant commissioning
• Ability to build, engage, empower and drive teams
• Fluent in German and English

Microbial Control Solutions (MCS)focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.
