Overview

Large PK-12 Summer School program held on the following dates (dates exclude specialized programs). Staff orientation June 22 (6 hrs), student contact days June 24–July 23, staff wrap‑up July 24 (6 hrs, may be split). Monday–Thursday schedule;
Friday off. Staff time 7:30‑1:30 pm (6 hrs paid daily) includes student contact, supervision, and planning. Student contact time 8:00‑1:00 pm.

  • Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a core subject area with coursework that leads to licensure in the relevant content area at an appropriate age level.

    Physical Attributes

    Job requires sitting, standing (up to 6–8 hours), walking, talking, hearing, operating a computer and handheld learning devices, reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.

    Certificates and Licenses

    Must hold or be eligible for a current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license for the taught content area. Short‑term substitute licenses issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction are accepted for summer school.
