District-wide School Volunteer & Tutor

Volunteer opportunities with Mount Vernon City Schools, District 80 are district-wide. The district comprises Benjamin Franklin Early Childhood Center (Pre‑K), Mount Vernon Primary Center (K‑3rd grades), J.L. Buford (4th‑5th grades), and Zadok Casey Middle School (6th‑8th grades).

Volunteer opportunities include work in school offices, classrooms, and tutoring. When filling out a volunteer application, please indicate which school and area you wish to volunteer. All volunteer placements are contingent upon a successful background check.
