Job Overview
For August 2026, Institut Le Rosey is seeking a full‑time English‑speaking teacher of IB Diploma Global Politics. The role is residential; accommodation and meals are provided on campus. The successful candidate will also play an active role in boarding life and contribute to the well‑being and growth of students.
The Humanities department includes IB Diploma subjects at Higher and Standard Level: History (English and French), Economics, Geography and Theory of Knowledge; a Standard Level Psychology course may launch in 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach Global Politics in English and support students in achieving academic excellence.
- Stimulate students’ learning, guide academic and personal development, and foster diversity and excellence.
- Take an active role in boarding life and extracurricular activities.
- Very good first degree in a relevant subject
- Qualified teacher status
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme in Global Politics
- Proven teaching experience with students aged 12 to 18 years
- Strong academic expertise and effective pedagogy
- Passion for education and a collaborative approach to planning teaching and learning
- Enthusiastic and dynamic personality
- Community spirit: teamwork, communication skills
- Experience teaching in an international environment

French or English language courses for employees and partners up to B1 level.
