Assist and monitor the monthly closure activities and complete consolidation activities required for the month end closure and Group Reporting packs.
Leading the preparation of Group financial statements under IFRS, including reconciliations and specifications, coordination of year end auditing process, documentation for auditors, compilation of notes to Annual Report.
Coordinate tax reporting, planning and compliance with regional teams and support the local Regional Finance teams in all accounting matters.
Project management of key Accounting and Tax changes, advise, monitor and optimize accounting and tax processes.
Responsibilities and Duties- Coordinate month and year end closures
- Coordinate and manage Intercompany reconciliation process and booking of consolidation entries.
- Oversee a multitude of accounting activities, analysis of reported figures to ensure correct consolidation.
- Lead and coordinate IFRS 16 accounting and closures.
- Continuous support to regional finance teams.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation / documentation of the year-end consolidated financial statements, including the required disclosures.
- Support the preparation of tax reporting, planning and compliance with regional teams.
- Support the preparation of Transfer price documentation.
- Prepare ad-hoc accounting / analysis for specific transactions and update Group Accounting Manual when necessary.
- Project management of key accounting and tax changes.
- Continuous assessment of accounting processes and controls with the aim to increase reporting efficiency and quality.
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, consolidation or as auditing, ideally in a Big 4 audit firm;
- IFRS knowledge;
- Strong Microsoft excel skills; experience with financial applications is a plus;
- SAP and SAP BPC knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
