Children in Need Social Workers – NEW TEAM

Hoop Recruitment are delighted to be supporting Swindon Borough Council with the launch of a brand-new Children in Need team, and we’re looking to recruit five experienced Social Workers to be part of this exciting new service from the outset.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a council that is investing in its workforce, building manageable caseloads, and creating a supportive team culture where good social work can thrive.
About the role- Hold a varied CIN caseload, working with children and families to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes
- Complete high-quality assessments, plans, and statutory visits
- Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and internal services
- Be supported by visible, approachable management within a newly formed team structure
- A new team with the chance to help shape ways of working
- Manageable caseloads and realistic expectations
- Supportive leadership and regular supervision

- £100 weekly travel and accommodation allowance until 10th May
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
- Experience working within Children in Need / statutory children’s services
- Confident, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality practice
- Team-oriented with a passion for making a difference
- DfE guidelines apply
- 20 years’ experience of the Social Work market
- Your local agency based in Cardiff
- Welsh-speaking consultant available should you wish to converse in Welsh throughout your job search
- PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available – you choose!
- Dedicated point of contact (support team to cover whilst on leave)
- Twice weekly payroll
- Actively supplying every Local Authority in South/West Wales and South West England
