Superflex Roadside Technician - Swindon

Join the RAC as a Super Flex Roadside Technician. Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Technician, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on.

We’ll equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Remuneration & Working Hours
  • Competitive salary: £48,720 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £54,000.
  • Weekly variety:
    You’ll work the average 40 hours per week across the year, receiving your roster seven days in advance with core working hours confirmed three days prior.
  • Shifts:

    06:00 to 02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide fault diagnostics, flat tyre and battery support to emergency callers.
  • Maintain your RAC van, manage supplies, and keep accurate reports.
  • Deliver rapid, reliable, and courteous roadside assistance across the region.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrable technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Customer‑focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work at short notice and to travel with overnight stays, if necessary.
  • Proactive problem‑solving skills, calm under pressure and confident in your craft.
  • A people person and proud ambassador for the RAC.
