Assistant Store Manager – Calvin Klein – Swindon Outlet (Maternity Cover)
Swindon, England – Full-time – Mid-Senior level
Join Calvin Klein, a global fashion brand committed to inclusive culture and outstanding retail experience. As Assistant Store Manager, you will lead the store team, drive sales performance, maintain visual standards, and build strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Lead teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses and create best customer experience while maintaining visual standards.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration.
- Maintain corporate visual‑merchandising directives.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication.
- Partner with Store Manager to build business opportunities and achieve company standards.
- Focus staff on quality relationships with customers; ensure accountability in building repeat customer base.
- Complete daily/weekly walkthroughs, evaluate product performance, pricing, service levels and inventory.
- Communicate sales drivers and issues to Store Manager; develop strategies to maximize business and create weekly visual presentation action plans.
- Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring including building bench strength.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
- Communicate clearly sales goals and performance expectations.
- Provide great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
- Previous supervisory or specialist roles within premium or luxury brand.
- People‑management experience with conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communicator capable of cultivating inclusion.
- Collaborative, recognise contributions, and celebrate achievements.
- Courageous in giving feedback for positive behavioural change.
- Fast‑adaptation to pace.
- Energetic with presence on shop floor.
- Can‑do approach, make informed decisions to solve in‑store issues.
