Housekeeping Assistant – Part Time; Orchards

Overview

The Orchards Residential Home in Swindon is looking for efficient and reliable Domestic Assistants to join the Housekeeping Team.

Our Housekeeping Team maintains a clean, odour-free environment for the residents. You will work in a team and clean to a high standard communal areas of the home and residents’ bedrooms and ensuites. All policies must be adhered to and appropriate uniforms and protective clothing must be worn. You will receive training on health and safety issues, the use of chemicals we use, and any equipment you need to operate.

Laundry duties may be required at times, including washing/drying, ironing, sorting through clothes and delivering clean clothes back to residents.

• Experience in a similar role but training will be provided
• Warm personality and enthusiastic about the role
• Good communication skills to interact with residents
• A good team player who works well with others
• Conscientious about achieving high standards of cleanliness across the home
