We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Mentor for Children with Additional Needs. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the educational and personal development of children who require extra assistance due to various learning challenges. • Provide individualised academic support tailored to the specific needs of each child.
• Assist children in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and developing effective study skills.
• Offer emotional support, creating a safe space for children to express themselves and build confidence.
• Set achievable goals and milestones with children, tracking progress and celebrating successes.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of children with additional needs within the educational system.
• Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
• Empower children to become more independent learners and develop essential life skills.
