Operations provides warehousing, packaging, transportation, bleach manufacture, and office support functions for the district or Company. The operator performs various functions in the compressed gas filling process.

Operations provides warehousing, packaging, transportation, bleach manufacture, and office support functions for the district or Company. The operator performs various functions in the compressed gas filling process.

• Performs all tasks associated with the filling of compressed gas cylinders and/or ton containers, such as evacuating, cleaning, inspecting, testing, painting, replacing valves, filling, and tagging.
• Rebuilds cylinder valves.
• Loads and unloads trucks and trailers, including tankers.
• Completes filling logs and other plant reports.
• Connects and disconnects railcars.
• Manufactures bleach.
• Analyzes product samples.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks on equipment or piping.
• Attends safety and training classes.
• Assists with general plant housekeeping.
• Visually inspects cylinders and ton containers and their removable components.
• Required to be a part of the Emergency Response Team when requested.
• Other duties as assigned. May be required to perform any or all of the previous job tasks, depending upon the organization and size of the plant.

High School or better. Preferred.

1-2 years of stable work experience, preferably in a production environment. Preferred.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in the management and manufacturing industry, specifically in chemical manufacturing.
