This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the dynamic Looked After Children’s team in Swansea. We are looking for a committed professional to deliver exceptional care and support to children and young people. The role offers full-time hours, with office days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Guildhall in Swansea SA1 4PE

Responsibilities
  • Act as the key Social Worker on cases involving looked after children to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Assess, review, and plan with young people, families, and carers to develop care strategies tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Handle safeguarding concerns effectively while complying with regulatory frameworks and legal standards.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient documentation and reports to support decision-making and strategies.
Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Care Wales registration.
  • Significant frontline experience within Social Services in the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
