Job Title: Painter (IPAF) - Temporary Contract
Location: York
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 2 Weeks (Temporary)
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Painter with a valid IPAF licence to carry out painting works on the roof of an industrial unit. This is a short-term temporary contract expected to last approximately two weeks.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out external painting works on the roof of an industrial building
- Operating powered access equipment safely (IPAF required)
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting to ensure a high-quality finish
- Applying coatings and finishes in line with project requirements
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting
- Valid IPAF licence (essential)
- Ability to work safely at height
- Own PPE and basic painting tools preferred
- Strong awareness of site health and safety practices
