Overview
£32,061 - £35,412 per year. Permanent and Full time. Pest Control Officer/Animal Warden to visit locations across Swansea to inspect premises, assess and report on pest activity, and deliver treatment programmes. In addition, they will also undertake responsibilities related to managing stray dogs and other animals.
Responsibilities- Visit locations across Swansea to inspect premises, assess pest activity, report findings and organise/undertake treatment programmes.
- Carry out duties associated with the control of dogs and other straying animals.
- Travel to various premises within Swansea; provide reports on pest levels and coordinate treatment programmes.
- Any academic or practical experience in pest control and dealing with animals would be an advantage.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with a flexible approach; able to work as part of a dedicated team.
- Willingness to work out in the field including late night and weekend hours on an out-of-hours rota basis.
The post will be in the Pollution Control & Public Health Team based in the Guildhall, Swansea. The main working role will be out in the field, including late night work and weekend work on an out-of-hours rota basis.
