We are partnered with an established and fast-growing business building innovative, AI orientated and agentic solutions on the Salesforce platform. The product helps organisations unlock greater value from their Salesforce investment through scalable, intelligent, and user-centric technology. As they continue to expand, we’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Salesforce Solution Engineer to support the sales team and drive new business growth.
As a Salesforce Solution Engineer with a strong pre‑sales focus, you will be the technical and functional expert supporting the sales process. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to understand customer challenges, design compelling solutions, and demonstrate how the application delivers measurable business value.
You’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer needs and the product capabilities and help accelerate deal cycles by giving the customers confidence in the solution from a product and services perspective.
Responsibilities will include:- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and shape winning strategies.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand prospect requirements and business objectives.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations on the Salesforce platform.
- Articulate technical and business value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and provide technical input into proposals as well as Statements of Work.
- Create proof-of-concepts and solution designs aligned to customer use cases.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on market insights.
- Support handover to implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale.
- 3 - 6 + years of experience in a Salesforce pre‑sales, solution engineering, or consulting role.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities.
- Experience working for an ISV or within the Salesforce App Exchange ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Confident presenter with strong storytelling and demonstration skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to translate technical functionality into business outcomes.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder) preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
