Job Description – Sales Manager (Ariane)
Role Purpose
Drive revenue growth, customer adoption, and long-term client partnerships within an assigned region, positioning Ariane as the most trusted, adoption-driven self-service partner in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver annual sales targets (one-off and ARR) in line with Ariane’s 3-year sales plan.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and closure.
- Develop strong relationships with hotel chains, franchise groups, and individual properties.
- Work closely with pre-sales, project, and support teams to ensure successful installations, pilots, and rollouts.
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in Salesforce.
- Identify attrition risks and partner with Customer Success to protect recurring revenues.
- Represent Ariane at industry events and build the brand in local markets.
- Represent Ariane professionally and with integrity at all times, both internally and externally.
- Degree-level education, 2 years’ sales experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience dealing with C-level executives.
- Primarily remote, but expected to travel, when appropriate, to Ariane offices (typically Ariane HQ) and to Ariane and Jonas Software locations as required.
- UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Benelux for client and prospect meetings, as required.
- Achievement of annual revenue targets (one-off and ARR).
- Adoption growth at pilot and rollout properties.
- Contribution to reducing attrition in the assigned region.
- Quality of Salesforce pipeline (accuracy, timeliness, hygiene).
- Cross-functional collaboration with pre-sales, delivery, and support.
- Client satisfaction (measured by repeat business and references).
- SVC Ratio (Sales Value Creation):
- Balance of new logos, ARR growth, and attrition prevention.
- Target: ≥30% of sales should be recurring ARR.
