Reporting into the UK&I Chief Digital Officer, the UK Head of Artificial Intelligence will ensure that both Fujitsu and our customers can correctly consume & generate business value from AI, whilst staying compliant to global Fujitsu & industry standards.
As the Head, you will be entrusted with spearheading our efforts in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence whilst working with our global portfolio and partner ecosystems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership
:
Establish the Centre of Responsible AI. Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Fujitsu UK organizational goals, ensuring a competitive edge in the market. Aligned to Fujitsu global strategy, and factoring into account existing offerings, develop a compelling value proposition for the UK Market. - Solution Architecture
:
Design and implement robust, industry aligned, AI architectures, leveraging the latest ecosystem technologies to create scalable and efficient solutions whilst ensuring repeatability through industry blueprints and automation. - Team Empowerment
:
Break down organization silo, bring together our disperse teams to ensure standardization and repeatability, whilst fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning whilst living the Fujitsu Way. - Closing The Skills Gap
:
Working with Learning & Development, ensure both our colleagues and customers are able to close the skills gap through innovative upskilling programmes and enablement activities. - Client Engagement
:
Collaborate closely with our sectors to understand their business challenges and provide strategic guidance on leveraging AI for measurable business impact. - QA, Standards & Oversight
:
Establish and enforce best practices for AI governance & oversight, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of all activities in line with European ethics and law. - Technology Evaluation
:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in AI, evaluating applicability to enhance our solutions and services. - GTM Creation (Consultancy + Product):
Working in conjunction with the Portfolio & Enablement Lead, create industry relevant GTM propositions and relevant advisory services that both drive growth for Fujitsu Uvance and evolve our customers in today’s digital economy. Ensure alignment to the strategic pivot program whilst supporting the delivery of our forecasted mid term plan. - Marketing & Analyst Relations
:
Act as the thought leader and storyteller, both hosting and attending events to promote the Centre internally, and externally at industry events.
- Understanding of the Data & AI Landscape, challenges and opportunities, including those within AWS and the Microsoft ecosystem. Any experience with Cohere, Mistral, Palantir an advantage.
- Practical experience of applied AI against industry problems, specifically Machine Learning and GenAI.
- Understanding of Data complexities, and a strategy to resolve them utilising Hyperscaler & proprietary platforms.
- Experience of developing and executing Data transformation services with a route to consumable AI
- Understanding and experience using difference AI disciplines and associated algorithms
- Experience of consultancy‑based engagements and value creation
- Broad understanding of market demands both in digital transformation and cross industry challenges
