Healthcare Assistant

Overview

Med Gen Healthcare are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of physical and healthcare needs across various care settings.

• Provide personal, emotional, and practical support to service users.

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene.

• Support individuals to maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

• Work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and carers to ensure continuity of care.

• Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

• Assist with rehabilitation, social engagement, and daily routines as required.

• Maintain accurate records in line with care plans, safeguarding, and health and safety policies.

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practice.

• Ability to provide a clinical reference.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• Manual Handling training (or willingness to complete).

• Healthcare: 3 years UK experience required

• Swansea Bay

• 7 hours per day, 7 days per week
