We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker specialising in Dementia Care in the vibrant city of Swansea. This ongoing role offers shifts from 07:00 to 19:00(long day) and 19:00 to 07:00 (night), providing flexibility and variety in your work schedule while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What you will do
  • Provide compassionate support and care for individuals with dementia, focusing on their mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring that the individuals’ personal needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment by building trusting relationships with both clients and their families.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to enhance their quality of life.
