Social Care Personal Assistant (Flexible hours, ranging from 10-20 hours p/w)

Hours: 10‑20 hours per week, primarily weekday evenings and weekend daytime, flexible.

Provide personal assistant support, driving and companionship for an individual living independently with epilepsy. Duties include safe transportation, medication assistance, supervising kitchen use, and attendance at social events.

• Drive to social events, shopping, and daily appointments.
• Ensure safe supervision while using cooking equipment.
• Monitor and support during and after seizures, ensuring medication is taken post‑seizure.
• Accompany to various social events, allowing independent social interaction.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.

• Previous experience as a personal assistant or caregiver.
• Comfort with voluntary activities involving disabled individuals and animal rescue.
• Valid driving licence and business insurance on the vehicle.
• Strong judgment, maturity, patience, dependability, friendliness, adaptability, and a supportive attitude.
• DBS check required before employment.

Hourly rate of £13.13. Expenses and mileage will be covered. Annual leave calculated on a pro‑rata basis. Six‑month probation period applies.
