We are seeking dedicated support workers to join our team on night shifts for our new client in Sketty, Swansea. Our client is a young male who has a brain injury, dystonia and epilepsy. He is PEG fed and requires suctioning, so experience and/or prior knowledge and training for these are ideal, however training can be provided. Previous experience supporting young children is essential.

• Monitoring client’s condition through the night.
• Delivering personalised care routines.
• Administering medication.
• Providing emotional support and companionship.
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client’s conditions.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

• Paediatric experience, preferably in a similar role working with brain injuries, PEG, epilepsy and dystonia.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the specified hours.
