Full-time Operating Theatre Assistant urgently required for Private Hospital in Swansea area, ASAP.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operating Theatre Assistant to assist the trained theatre staff in the smooth running of a busy operating theatre in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

• Ensure safe preparation of patient trolleys, assist with the correct positioning of the patient under the supervision of the Surgeon and qualified nursing staff.
• Assist with the application of non-sterile equipment during operating procedures, be aware of theatre cleanliness and hygiene practices and to participate in essential maintenance of the environment.
• Remove clinical waste, monitor stock levels.

• The ideal candidate would be an experienced Operating Theatre Assistant with the relevant qualifications and post registration experience.

• Full time, 37.5 hrs, permanent, with a salary dependent on experience plus fantastic benefits.
