Group Consolidation Systems Administrator – SAP BPC / S4H Group Reporting

Greater London – hybrid working offered

Systems Accountants is working with a organisation to recruit a SAP BPC Group Consolidation Systems Administrator to join their Group Financial Reporting Systems team. This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s consolidation and reporting landscape, supporting the Finance function on the day to day operation of the system and ensuring it meets the business’s requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on SAP BPC experience who enjoys working in a finance systems administration capacity. In the near future there is the opportunity to be part of the system transition to SAP S/4

HANA Group Reporting.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, control and continuous improvement of the group consolidation system, ensuring accurate, timely and well‑governed reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing reporting cycles, including enhancements and deployment
  • Maintaining BPC security and ensuring correct user access
  • Building and improving AFO‑EPM reports and input forms
  • Managing BPC master data, chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies
  • Performing consolidation‑related SOX controls
  • Analysing and improving off‑system consolidation processes
  • Supporting upgrades, new functionality and system‑wide changes
  • Troubleshooting data and reporting issues
  • Maintaining documentation and delivering end‑user training
  • Working closely with Group Finance, Group IT, auditors and external vendors

The current platform is SAP BPC, with an expected future move to S/4

HANA Group Reporting.

About You Essential experience:
  • 2+ years working with finance or consolidation systems
  • Hands‑on SAP BPC administration and/or implementation
  • Strong AFO‑EPM reporting skills
  • Understanding of accounting, financial statements and IFRS
  • Experience with system and process controls (SOX exposure beneficial)
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
Desirable:
  • SAP BPC certification
  • Part‑qualified accountant
  • Experience with SAP BW, FI‑CO or S4H Group Reporting
  • Data modelling, project work or full EPM implementation lifecycle
  • VBA skills
  • Experience working with auditors or in a controls‑heavy environment
